With on and off-field individuals catching the eye after the release of the series on April 1, many are wondering what happened to the stars of the show.
Here, we take a look at what happened to all the key players in Sunderland ‘Til I Die – from Jack Ross to Juan Sartori:
1. Charlie Methven
The club’s former executive director is a prominent figure in season two of Sunderland ‘Til I Die, with his work to transform the club behind the scenes documented. Methven resigned from his role in December 2019, but retains a minor shareholding in the club. He is now focusing on his PR consultancy work.
2. Stewart Donald
The Sunderland owner and majority shareholder is another regular in the series - and remains at the club to this day. He may not be the club’s owner for much longer, though, after he placed the Black Cats up for sale in December.
3. Neil Fox
Described as Donald’s right hand man in the past, the pair worked together at Bridle Insurance with Fox then joining his long-standing partner at the Stadium of Light. He remains a director of the club.
4. Richard Hill
Formerly manager of Eastleigh when Donald owned the National League side, Hill was appointed as Head of Football Operations at the Stadium of Light - and still holds that position.
