Chelsea defender Papy Djilobodji became David Moyes' first Sunderland signing tonight when he arrived at the Stadium of Light in an £8million deal.

The move came out of the blue with Djilobodji - who spent the second half of last season on loan at Werder Bremen - making just one substitute's appearance for Chelsea after joining them 12 months ago.

But Djilobodji built a strong reputation at French club Nantes, with this footage showing why the 27-year-old earned a move to Stamford Bridge.
