5. Luke O’Nien - 6
Defensively relatively resolute and did a decent job defending against the lively Steven Sessegnon on the left of Sunderland’s back five. Couldn’t make the most of one or two half decent openings going forward before coming off. 6 Photo: Frank Reid
6. Corry Evans - 8
Did his job excellently throughout. Snuffed out some dangerous counters, covered well for his team-mates and kept the ball moving. Another very important performance on the road. 8 Photo: JPI Media
7. Jay Matete - 6
Started brightly and played his part in an excellent duel with the very impressive Panutche Camara. The latter looked on top before the break but Matete looked strong afterwards. Just needs some more composure on the ball at times. 6 Photo: JPI Media
