Swansea have been linked with a £4million move for Sunderland striker Steven Fletcher.
The Scottish international could potentially leave the Stadium of Light this summer, with only 12 months remaining on his Sunderland contract.
With Dick Advocaat still keen to add another striker to his squad this summer, both Fletcher and Danny Graham - similarly in the final year of his deal - are vulnerable to being offloaded.
As reported by the Echo last week, Sunderland are looking to lessen the load on their wage bill by moving on those considered surplus to requirements.
And Swansea could offer an exit route for Fletcher after reports indicating that the Welsh club are readying a £4m bid for the 28-year-old.
Celtic had been interested in Fletcher, but have pulled out of the race due to the cost of covering the striker’s wages.
