STEPHANE Sessegnon’s potential move to China has been mentioned in the Sunday papers.
The Daily Star Sunday picks up on the story which has been circulating for the past couple of days after reports started to emerge from China.
Two clubs have reportedly been interested in the 29-year-old striker, Tianjin Teda and Shanghai Shenhua.
But with Shenhua apparently deciding to drop their interest, the field is clear for Teda to be the ones to bring the Benin international to the Chinese Super League.
There has been no confirmation of any concrete offer for the striker though from Asia or from Sunderland.
