'Things you love to see!': Sunderland fans react as ex-striker Josh Maja strikes twice for Fulham and piles pressure on Newcastle United

The former Black Cat netted twice as Fulham claimed a surprising win over Everton on Sunday evening, with the brace representing Maja’s first top flight goals since his arrival back in England at the end of the winter transfer window.
It was a big win for the London side in the relegation battle, and saw Scott Parker’s side close the gap between the bottom three and Newcastle United. With the Magpies preparing to face Chelsea this evening, the pressure is on Bruce not to let that gap shrink further in the coming weeks.

@Rollie3333 said: “This should go down as a lesson learned to our club, regarding academy players”
@ChrisPhil1992 added: “Great to see Maja killing it, always had the talent to go far.. if we had kept him, we would have gone up without question”
@MichaelPotts73 commented: “Funny situation, the Maja one. Could see him attracting a lot of attention this summer, could go for a *big* fee soon, yet all PL teams had to do was send a scout up any given Saturday across a year and they'd have seen enough to take a £1m punt on him. Obvious talent.”

If Maja's goals relegate Newcastle, then I'll be ower the moon”
