Sunderland announced their retained list ahead of the 2021/22 season last month – confirming that several first-team players will leave the Stadium of Light this summer.

Grant Leadbitter, Max Power, Chris Maguire, Conor McLaughlin, Remi Matthews, Callum McFadzean and Josh Scowen will all depart the club when their contracts expire at the end of June.

It means the Black Cats will be looking to make several new signings ahead of the 2021/22 campaign – and there are plenty of players who could be available, possibly in the league above.

In the Championship, most clubs have announced their retained lists, though some are still trying to negotiate with players after offering them new contracts.

Championship newcomers Blackpool received extra time to announce the players who will be leaving the club after they reached and won the League One play-off final against Lincoln.

Here are the players who are set to become free agents this summer- including those who have been offered new deals.
