SUNDERLAND winger Jordan Cook has extended his loan spell with League One Carlisle.

The 21-year-old has featured four times since moving to Brunton Park last month, including two starts.

Former Darlington and Walsall loanee Cook will now remain at Brunton Park until Saturday, March 12 after his original month-long stint expired this week.

Carlisle boss Greg Abbott said: “We’ve seen what Jordan can do and we’re delighted that he’ll be with us for another month.

“He has energy and he causes problems and he has fitted in well. There are still some rough edges, but you’d expect that.

“Hopefully he’ll continue to progress as we go through a very busy period.”
