Sunderland v Lincoln City: Watch the penalties with our pundits

Sunderland’s clash against Lincoln City in the semi-final of the EFL’s Papa Johns Trophy at the Stadium of Light is underway, and so is our coverage at the top of the page.

It would normally be a rowdy affair, with tens of thousands of fans roaring Lee Johnson’s side on, but we can’t even meet in a pub let alone the stadium due to lockdown restrictions.

So we’ve decided to bring the fan experience to you instead. We are hosting a Watch Party with our journalists and supporters watching the game together virtually, providing some humour, reaction and insight into the clash.

We’ll be going live to Echo’s chief football writer Phil Smith live at the SoL for his take and analysis throughout the game, and back in the ‘studio’ we have James Copley, Graham Falk, Joe Nicholson, Melissa Johnson and Matty Crichton providing their take on how the contest is going while enjoying a refreshment or two.

We’ll also be playing Buzzword Bingo – download our bingo card (below) and whenever one of the Sky pundits or our panel mention one of the phrases, mark it off or take a swig from whatever tipple takes your fancy.
