Sam Allardyce is calling for his Sunderland players to keep their cool when Chelsea visit the Stadium of Light on Saturday.
Allardyce held his press conference at the Academy of Light this afternoon and revealed right-back Billy Jones is the only player struggling to make the game.
He called on his players to deal with the pressure of the relegation scrap.
"You can see what pressure does. The first example is of Spurs losing control under that pressure," said Allardyce.
"Perhaps it is because they are – as Mauricio Pochettino says – such a young team. Maybe that’s why they lost the plot, you don’t normally see a Tottenham team going around hacking a team like they did.
"That’s the last thing we want to see in the last three games, we want to see controlled passion, desire, commitment but we don’t want to see us lose control.
"We have to put everything into try to beat a strong Chelsea side."
Third-bottom Sunderland dropped into the relegation zone despite the late point at Stoke City ahead of a tension-filled climax to the Premier League campaign.
