SUNDERLAND suffered a hugely disappointing home defeat as they went down by a solitary goal to Wolves in the Barclays U18 Premier League at the Academy of Light in a scrappy clash.

Ibrahim Keita pounced for the only goal six minutes into the second half of a game watched by Sunderland’s director of football Roberto De Fanti and chief scout Valentino Angeloni, with owner Ellis Short joining them in the second half and staying to the final whistle.
