SUNDERLAND striker Mikael Mandron today joined Shrewsbury Town on loan until the end of the season.
The 20-year-old will be aiming to help the League Two side gain promotion this season, with Shrewsbury sitting second in the table.
Mandron – who has three substitute appearances under his belt for the Sunderland first team – has impressed for the Under-21s, scoring the winner against Manchester City this week.
He has had one loan spell before, at Fleetwood Town last season.
He goes straight into the squad for Saturday’s game against Newport.
