SUNDERLAND midfielder Lee Cattermole admits he is aware of his precarious disciplinary situation.
Perhaps the only crumb of comfort from Saturday’s 4-0 rout at the Hawthorns was that skipper Cattermole avoided a 10th yellow card of the season and the subsequent two-match ban, amid fears the 23-year-old would miss next weekend’s Tyne-Wear derby.
The former Middlesbrough man said: “It’s something that was talked about a lot during the week.
“Obviously it’s not nice tip-toeing around the park a little bit.
“But I just tried to play my normal game and you don’t get booked every match.
“If it happens it happens, but it’s something I’ll try not to think about.”
