SUNDERLAND’S Premier League trip to Arsenal has been put back a day to Sunday, October 16 (1.30pm) for coverage by Sky Sports.

The switch is likely to cause problems for many Black Cats fans travelling to the game and who will have bought discounted rail tickets for the original Saturday match.

The Gunners contest is the third Sunderland match chosen so far for live TV broadcast, the others being fixtures at Norwich (September 26, 8pm) and Queens Park Rangers (December 20, 8pm).

Steve Bruce’s deadline-day signing Niklas Bendtner will not be allowed to play against Arsenal, his parent club, under the rules of his loan.
