Sunderland’s New Year game against Saints re-arranged for television

SUNDERLAND’S home game against Southampton in the New Year has been selected for live television broadcast.

The Black Cats’ Premier League clash against the Saints will still place on Saturday, January 18 but kick-off has now been moved back to the earlier time of 12.45pm.

It is the second Sunderland game against the Saints which has been re-arranged this season.

The Capital One Cup fourth round tie against the south coast side was due to be played last week but it clashed with Newcastle’s game against Manchester City and was shifted to this Wednesday, November 6, kick-off 7.45pm.

* Cash turnstiles will be operating for this Wednesday’s cup game against Southampton and will be open on the evening from 6.15pm with both adult and concession ticket prices available.

The cash turnstiles will be: South West; 5,6,7,8; East Stand; 35, 36; South East Corner; 51, 52; South Stand; 53, 54, 61, 62.

Tickets are priced £15 for adults, £5 for under 16s and over 65s.
