The Wear-Tyne derby has been rearranged for television coverage, with Sunderland now facing a noon showdown against Newcastle United.

Sunderland’s bid to secure a sixth successive win over the Magpies will now take place at the Stadium of Light on Sunday, October 25 (noon kick-off).

It’s one of three games which has been selected for live broadcast, with the trip to Everton pushed back to Sunday, November 1 (kick-off 1.30pm).

And three weeks later, the clash at Crystal Palace will now take place on Monday November 23 (8pm kick-off).
