Sunderland manager weighs up re-call for talented loan star, Parkinson drops hint on January transfer activity – League One and Two gossip
Sunderland boss Phil Parkinson is said to be weighing up a January recall for youngster Ethan Robson.
Robson has been in fine form for Grimsby Town in League Two this season, and the 23-year-old may find more opportunities if he returned to the Stadium of Light.

In other Sunderland news, Parkinson has confirmed that the Mackems are looking at a busy January transfer window, with a number of targets on the horizon.
He said: “It is a continual process of meeting Tony Coton and his scouting team in terms of going forward into January. We have had the opportunity to watch a few games.”
“Me and Steve Parkin were at a game last night looking at a few players, potential targets. The scouts have been out as well so we have been able to sit down with Tony and his team and write down a list of targets in January.”
