PHILLIPS SEES MANAGERIAL ODDS PLUMMET

Kevin Phillips has made no secret of his desire to enter the world of management – and seen his odds for the vacant Birmingham City job plummet.

While he still remains an outsider at 20/1, the former Sunderland striker has received some backing in recent days with his odds drastically dropping as a result.

Birmingham are searching for a new manager following the departure of Pep Clotet, with Charlton Athletic chief Lee Bowyer the current favourite.
