Sunderland hero Beth Mead was left stunned after her hat-trick helped sink league leaders Chelsea 4-0.
The Lady Black Cats were too good for the Londoners on home soil at Eppleton CW - with in-form Mead hitting a second-half treble to stun Chelsea.
Her three finishes were all expertly taken as Sunderland closed the gap on the leaders to just two points.
Abby Holmes added a fourth late on to cap a remarkable day.
Mead told the Echo: “The performance was surreal.
“Chelsea are top of the league at the moment and they have international players playing for them from different countries.
“We are a team full of Sunderland girls that no one knows.
“It is amazing to have played so well and scored four goals.
“We would have bitten someone’s hand off for a point today, never mind all three!”
