Sunderland boss David Moyes has been handed a triple fitness boost ahead of tomorrow's clash with Crystal Palace.

Star striker Jermain Defoe, who was rested for the EFL Cup game in midweek with QPR with a slight leg problem, has returned to training.

And Moyes also revealed that Wahbi Khazri and Jack Rodwell are in contention for the game after overcoming injuries.

The Cats boss said: "Jermain is back training today and we hope he will be OK. Khazri is also back training so hopefully he will be back too."

Moyes also revealed that Victor Anichebe isn't too far away from being in contention to make his Sunderland debut.
