Sunderland fans snap up Fleetwood tickets as New Year's Day fixture sells out

Tickets for Sunderland's trip to Fleetwood on New Year’s Day have sold out.

Sunderland will travel to Fleetwood on New Year's Day.

The Black Cats received an allocation of 1,079 tickets for the game at Highbury Stadium before tickets went on sale last week.

Sunderland have now confirmed the full away allocation has been snapped up.

The Wearsiders are yet to play Fleetwood this season after the fixture at the Stadium of Light, originally scheduled for October, was postponed due to international call-ups.

The rearranged fixture will now be played on Tuesday, February 25 (7.45pm kick-off).

Tickets for Sunderland’s first two home games of 2020, against Lincoln City and Wycombe, have also gone on sale.

The Black Cats will welcome Michael Appleton’s Lincoln side to the Stadium of Light on Saturday, January, 4.

A week later, Sunderland will host high-flying Wycombe Wanderers who will make the long trip to Wearside on Saturday, January 11.
