Sunderland confirm Bramble and Kilgallon exits

SUNDERLAND have confirmed Titus Bramble and Matt Kilgallon will be allowed to leave the club this summer.

The pair are out of contract at the end of next month and it has been pretty much an open secret that neither were to be offered new deals.

The news became public today as Sunderland published their retained list ahead of the 2013-14 season.

As well as the two central defenders’ departure, there were also exits for young striker Ryan Noble, midfielder Adam Reed and goalkeeper Ben Wilson.

Meanwhile loan signings Danny Rose and Kader Mangane have returned to their parent clubs.

Sunderland’s full retained list is:

Goalkeepers – Simon Mignolet, Keiren Westwood, Jordan Pickford and Joel Dixon.

Defenders – Phil Bardsley, Carlos Cuellar, Wes Brown, John O’Shea, David Ferguson, Scott Harrison, Liam Marrs, Connor Oliver, John Egan, Louis Laing, Jordan Watson.

Midfielders – Lee Cattermole, Sebastian Larsson, Craig Gardner, Jack Colback, David Vaughan, Alfred N’Diaye, Adam Johnson, James McClean, Ahmed Elmohamady, Stephane Sessegnon, Alex Gorrin, Billy Knott, Adam Mitchell, Craig Lynch, George Honeyman.
