7. Storey confident on Sunderland deal
Proposed Sunderland buyer William Storey has revealed he remains “very confident that the best bid for the club will be accepted & my group are pleased that after many months of hard work that a positive conclusion is in sight. The interests of the club are absolutely paramount”. (@richenergyceo)

8. Battle for Leeds United midfielder
Hull City face competition to sign Leeds United star Robbie Gotts. However, they could face competition from Championship side Huddersfield Town and League one rivals Blackpool. The Premier League side are keen for the player, described as dynamic No.8 by Marcelo Bielsa, to go out on loan. (Various)
