TWO award winners will battle it out at the Stadium of Light on Wednesday night.
Sunderland’s Lee Cattermole was presented with his North East Player of the Year award on Sunday night.
And tonight, Manchester City’s Sergio Aguero won the Football Supporters’ Federation Player of the Year award.
He beat off the challenge of Eden Hazard, Branislav Ivanovic, Morgan Schneiderlin, Raheem Sterling, and Yaya Toure to win the award.
Aguero, pictured with partner Karina Tejeda, collected the award at St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel in London.
Sunderland play City on Wednesday, looking to repeat their fine display on Saturday which earned a point against Chelsea.
