William Storey offers to fight four SAFC fans in charity boxing clash in aid of Sunderland Foodbank

Storey has made two bids to take control of Sunderland AFC but as has been widely reported, he is not seen as a credible option by the current owners.

Despite this, he has maintained a strong presence on social media and has now made the offer of a charity boxing match via Twitter.

On Tuesday afternoon, he tweeted: “A charity #boxing event to raise money for the brilliant @sunderlandfb is a great idea.

“I'll fight 4 members of @RokerReport over 3 rounds each. All monies raised to the #foodbank which helps those in need in the #Sunderland area. Good fun too #Charity #Boxing #RokerReport”
