Barcelona right-back Aleix Vidal looks set to leave the Nou Camp on loan in January, with Sunderland among the clubs reported to be interested.
As reported last week, Sunderland are thought to be weighing up a move alongside AC Milan, Inter Milan, Napoli and Granada.
Barcelona want £11million for the defender but fresh reports in Spain over the weekend say he will be allowed to leave on loan in January.
The 27-year-old has been at the Spanish giants for more than a year after a £13million move from Seville in the summer of 2015 but has fallen out of favour.
