Sunderland AFC revise opening hours for ticket office and store and suspend stadium tours amid coronavirus pandemic

All football has been suspended in this country until April 30, the FA has today announced, an extension on the original date of April 3.
And Sunderland AFC has today revealed new measures it is taking following the coronavirus outbreak, which is affecting all walks of life around the world.

Hide AdThe club says their ‘primary concern remains the safety and wellbeing of its supporters, staff and players’.
A club statement read: “Following the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, Sunderland AFC continues to monitor and implement the latest advice of the government and the EFL.
“SAFC’s primary concern remains the safety and wellbeing of its supporters, staff and players, with further measures set to be introduced to help prevent the spread of the virus and protect all associated with the club.
“From Friday 20 March, the Stadium of Light box office and store will be operating under revised opening hours, details as follows:
“Monday-Friday: 10am ‘til 2pm
“Saturday-Sunday: Closed

“Online ticketing
“Online store
“Stadium tours have also been suspended with immediate effect, and anyone with an existing booking will be contacted by the club in due course.
“In line with government advice, proactive changes to day-to-day operations at the Academy of Light have also been implemented.”
