Sunderland saw their League One clash at Accrington Stanley abandoned with under 20 minutes remaining - and fans were quick to react.
The game at the Wham Stadium lasted just over 70 minutes before being brought to a halt, with the worsening weather conditions putting player's safety at risk.
Referee Oliver Langford brought proceedings to an end with the scores locked at 1-1, with Chris Maguire's strike for the Black Cats cancelled out by Connor Hall's scrappy finish.
And Sunderland supporters were quick to air their views on the postponement, with many blaming Langford and suggesting he should have called-off the game prior to kick-off.
Here's the best of the reaction on social media:

@peterjames73 said: "Game should have been called off before a ball was kicked. It was clear the pitch was unplayable"
@durhamchris1983 commented: "Sunderland match abandoned, conditions not good but can't ever recall seeing a referee heading off the pitch as quick. Clearly couldn't be bothered. Harsh on the fans that from both clubs."
@AnthonyMorrow83 posted: "We score with a charged down of a keeper's kick, which was a blatant handball. They score from an absolutely atrocious goalmouth scramble. Match abandoned two minutes later. League one is mental."
@LBarks72 tweeted: "You have to question why that game went ahead in the first place despite conditions worsening. Pitch was shocking to start with"
@drsafc said: "surprised it actually started"
@safcfans added: "Match abandoned at 1-1 after 74 minutes. Conditions becoming very poor out there and ultimately player safety comes first. Shame. Big shame."
@davey_lad commented: "No way ref abandons that @ 0-1 He prayed for an equaliser and we delivered"
