SUNDERLAND striker Jordan Cook has completed a one-month loan switch to League One Carlisle.

The 21-year-old has been a regular for the reserves this season, but has not featured for the Black Cats first team since the final day of last season at West Ham.

Cook, who has previously enjoyed loan spells with Walsall and Darlington, is the second Sunderland player to join Carlisle in a week after midfielder Liam Noble moved to Brunton Park on a permanent deal last Friday.

Carlisle boss Greg Abbott said: “With the relationship we continue to build with Sunderland, they know that this is a good place to send their players.”
