NIALL Quinn has done it all at Sunderland.
Between 1996 and 2002 he made 203 appearances for the Black Cats finding the back of the net 61 times.
He later went on to have a brief spell as manager before taking over the reins as chairman at the Stadium of Light.
The Republic of Ireland international was back in the region this week to officially re-open Wellfield Community School, in Wingate.
The perfect excuse therefore to delve into our archives and reflect on Quinn’s career at the club including his time playing under manager Peter Reid, play-off despair against Charlton Athletic plus plenty of highs in a Sunderland and Republic of Ireland shirt.
All that is missing is his famous ‘Disco Pants’.
