Jordan Willis’ early header proved the difference for Phil Parkinson’s side, as they were forced to resolutely defend to keep a determined Oxford at bay.

1. Jon McLaughlin
Goalkeepers are such a crucial part of any win in conditions like this. Made a couple of very good saves and commanded his box supremely well. 8 Photo: FRANK REID
2. Jordan Willis
Some outlets ruled the opener to be an own goal but it looked like a superb, deft header from Willis. From there on in he was exceptional, the key figure in an excellent defensive rearguard. A truly superb defender. 9 Photo: FRANK REID
3. Tom Flanagan
Has been a very important player of late and this was arguably his best showing yet. Countless crucial defensive interventions and early on he also showed excellent composure in possession. 8 Photo: FRANK REID
4. Bailey Wright
That he came off late with an injury will be the main concern on a very good afternoon for Phil Parkinson. Aside from one poor header early on, he was excellent and showed all the maturity and experience required. 8 Photo: FRANK REID 2020
