Have your say

Sunderland slipped to another poor defeat, 2-0 at previously winless Stoke City today.

The pressure mounts on boss David Moyes, with the Black Cats four points adrift of safety heading into a crucial clash at fellow strugglers West Ham next Saturday.

Here’s how some SAFC fans reacted on Twitter to the shocker at the Bet365 Stadium, as Joe Allen’s brace won the day.

@richpinner1971: well I say sadly i think we need relegation as a club! The PL is a joke and watching SAFC in it is painful.

@JHayYT: What a load of rubbish

@Real_StevieG: Don’t know what #Moyes said at H/T but it had ZERO impact on team as they were just as bad in 2nd half (yes its possible)

@1AndrewCampbell: Never been so disillusioned with the club in years. Particularly this season so far reminds me of 02/03 and 05/06. Moyes out

@ianprice123: You have to laugh or you’ll spend your whole life crying

@chrissavedlatin: Fail to win next week and this will be the worst ever start to a season for

@WeePhillie: The only time #SAFC don’t totally ruin my Saturday is when they’re playin’ on a Sunday ...and then they spoil me Sunday dinner!

@APepper8: How can anyone expect the players to be positive if your boss is looking for a draw vs. Stoke?!

@acferguson26: I know we have injuries but that was shambolic

@SAFCmal: Fact- 9 of Sunderland’s players from today’s starting XI would fail to get into any other Premier League side

@kie123star: Why the hell do I bother, because I bloody love #safc but for Christ sake get a grip and sort your selves out pathetic

@mdon874: Absolutely no positives to take from that. Proper grim stuff from

@joeclass4: Players getting injured far too easily don’t have stomach for the fight. But this is bloke Short always wanted. Short should now sell

@darrenord: Wonder if the FA would let us just swap places with Norwich now. Don’t think I can watch this crap for a whole season.

@Robbo_SAFC: Painful viewing once again

@GaryMesser79: That is as bad as I’ve seen from safc, got to act

@W1LKY12: Time to go moyes

@MaxHanaghan: Irrespective of injuries, squad size or ability, the man just looks like he doesn’t inspire confidence or have a clue.

@SimonHarra: another joyless miserable sat afternoon. Yrs of instability, Yrs of loosing mentality, fed up of it

@rstaincliffe1: No urgency or tempo, sat so deep and just let them have the ball for 90 mins, no physicality and no desire, truly truly awful

@ianwschofield: I’ve never disliked a SAFC manager as much as I do with Moyes. Negative & bland. Turned us into a laughing stock.Had high hopes for him too.

@LdoubleE_87: Been reluctant to say this but Moyes has to go for me. Fitness, tactics and subs (all be it bit much choice) all awful.

@Croarky: Love to know Moyes’ thinking behind us lumping the ball up to Defoe & have his support positioned 20-30 yards away from him every game

@dshurbs83: Massive lack of anything good about this team like you can’t see us doing anything. So disappointing.

@steve_winder83: Starting to remind me of Mick McCarthy in 05/06 this. Woeful. Derby we are coming for your record

@MackemMik: Feel sorry for moyes like. Reckon the problem is deeper than management. I’d rather have a club than no club at all

@JordanGowling29: Im sick and tired of being sick and tired #safc let me knw when the season is over

@waldron1994: Worst performance of the season so far. Shocking stuff

@LewieLaing: Says it all about our performance when an ex player, bardo, gets a bigger applause than our current players

@skipsbry: How much longer for Moyes? That was at least a draw needed game. Stand no chance of survival this season already

@simongibbo1: Wot a shambles #SAFC r at the moment Embarrassing from top 2 bottom. The manor of the defeats is wot hurts the most

@moyza69: Writing was on the wall as soon as I saw Stoke hadn’t kept a clean sheet in 16 games. #safc record at ending opponents drought is impeccable
