'Now let's beat Portsmouth and Ipswich!': Sunderland fans react to gritty Tranmere win

Sunderland remain in the League One play-off places after a 1-0 win over Tranmere in difficult conditions – and Black Cats supporters were quick to react to the game at Prenton Park.

Charlie Wyke scored the only goal of the game just before the hour mark as the Wearsiders extended their unbeaten run to nine games and climbed to fifth in the table.

Phil Parkinson’s side will now head into important games against promotion rivals Portsmouth and Ipswich full of confidence following their fourth consecutive clean sheet.
