One of the large surfer flags – funded by the Red & White Army - is on display, along with a number of smaller flags will be present as the Black Cats take on Pompey.

Fans discussed the matter at a meeting of the Red & White Army on Thursday, with the club helping to facilitate the return of the flags in time for this big fixture – where a positive result could see Sunderland’s unbeaten start to the season continue.
