'The more I see it, the more I like it': Sunderland fans reveal thoughts on new away kit
Sunderland have released their new away kit for the 2020/21 season – and supporters were quick to have their say on social media.
The dark blue strip with a red collar, produced by Nike, is available to pre-order via the club’s website, and many are happy with the design.
There are a few who aren’t so impressed, though, and some felt a little underwhelmed following the home shirt’s unveiling earlier this month.
Here’s what some supporters are saying about the new away shirt on Twitter.
@SpartinMartin84: The more I see it, the more I’m liking it
@ChrisFryatt: Very, very nice!
@matt_safc: Big fan of this. Lovely
@Philip_RJ89: This is a decent design, I think. Not a classic and not as good as the home shirt, but compared to the absolute garbage churned out by Adidas last season, it’s an improvement.
@marrs_jordan: I like that new away top
@DanielSAFC_: Awful kit that
@KProudlock13: How can anyone think this is anything other than stunning
@VR3Frankie: It looks nice. You can't see it there but I'm a bit concerned about the red at the sides.
@MattyCrichton: I really don’t like that red collar…
@JLauder91: New away kit is smart. Not keen on red shorts but the rest of the kit is topper.
@elijahbasden05: Don’t know about the collar like but a nice kit otherwise
@LeeAnde51871819: Think it’s alreet - no red on the back either
@DJB_1976: Change the collar and shorts to white and you've got a decent kit. Who designs this seriously?
@RobTate87: Very Smart
