SUNDERLAND midfield player Mick McGiven (above), out of the first team action for a month as a result of the injuries he received in the game against Huddersfield at Leeds Road on September 23, will present his special appeal against his sending-off in that game to the FA Disciplinary Committee at the Royal Victoria Hotel, Sheffield, on November 10.
McGiven, who marked his return with a fine performance against Queen’s Park Rangers last week, holds his place for tomorrow afternoon’s game against Fulham at Roker Park.
The only Sunderland change is at No. 9, where Dave Watson returns in place of Jimmy Hamilton who is named as substitute.
Fulham today confirmed that they will be relying upon the side which claimed a 2-0 home win over Blackpool last week.
The line-up will be:
Sunderland: Montgomery, Malone and Bolton, Horswill, Pitt and Porterfield, McGiven, Kerr, Watson, Lathan and Tueart, Substitute: Hamilton.
