Luton Town v Sunderland - live updates
Should be 2-2!
Doughty is in but fires straight at Patterson who can block with his legs. Poor effort.
GOALLLLLLLLLLL
Incredible!
Hume lands a huge challenge and Sunderland break. Mundle drives in from the byline, beats Moses, beats Clark and smashes in the bottom corner.
2-1! Scenes!
And Connolly on for Isidor. Huge shift from the Frenchman.
GOAL - LUTON LEVEL
A free kick is swung to the back post. Morris flicks it back across goal and Adebayo just can’t miss from a couple of yards.
Sunderland’s lead last a matter of minutes.
Corner breaks kindly for Cirkin and Kaminski palms the effort away. Good stuff from Sunderland - grown in confidence after the goal.
Can you believe it?
Isidor challenges for a long ball. Luton want a foul, not given. Runs all the way to Rigg who then goes on a mazy run before firing past Kaminski.
What composure!
THAT offside call from the first half
I actually think the lino has got this right. Clark moves from an offside position and clearly tries to head the ball.
Great save!
Neil loses it.
Mepham makes a brilliant block. Cross then comes in and saves Patterson saves very well flying high to this right to deny Adebayo.
Credit to the Sunderland defence
For all Luton’s pressure, they’ve forged just one shot on target and have an XG of just 0.25. That tells you how well the back four have done.
The debate over the offside goal will rumble on. Clark was clearly offside and did seems to make a move to try and head the ball, which is presumably why he’s been deemed to be interfering.
