'At least Christmas can't be ruined!': Sunderland fans back 'sensible' club decision as THREE League One games postponed

Sunderland fans have backed the club's decision to postpone their next three League One games – after four new COVID-19 cases were confirmed.

The Black Cats were without eight players for the visit of AFC Wimbledon in midweek after one senior player returned a positive test – with seven more players then forced to self-isolate.

And after a fresh round of testing revealed more positive cases, the club have informed the EFL that they will not be able to fulfil their fixtures against Shrewsbury Town, Blackpool and Hull City.

Fans have supported the call and believe a common-sense approach has been taken.
