The Black Cats have made two changes to the side that last took to the field, with George Dobson and Chris Maguire replaced by Duncan Watmore and Conor McLaughlin.

And supporters have had plenty to say on the exclusion of Benji Kimpioka, whose late leveller from the bench sealed a point against Coventry City on Saturday.

Here’s what fans were commenting on social media:

@Blackcatslee25 tweeted: “When is he going to realise power and leadbitter can’t play together man?? Too slow.”

@TalonPlaysYT said: “Why are we starting Grigg all the time? We have McNulty and Kimpioka who are putting in more effort than him. Grigg's recent performances show that he doesn't deserve to start.”

@lincolnsafc posted: “I’d rather play sammut than grant and benji instead of Grigg”

@chubfubbler commented: “Only positive is it's slightly better than Saturday's line up.”
