As it stands, Bury face being expelled from the Football League on Friday, unless the owner can satisfy their concerns over his funding for the season. An 11th hour rescue bid has been rejected, and the situation looks bleak. Plans for their departure are already in place, limiting the relegation spots in League One to three for the season. Despite Phil Parkinson's passionate pleas for a resolution, the proposed takeover drags on and the administrators remain in charge. That led to the postponement of Tuesday night's clash with Doncaster due to fears over young player's welfare, something that league and Donny claim they did not know about before Bolton's announcement. Lincoln boss Danny Cowley has slammed that move, as Doncaster now have extra preparation time ahead of the weekend's clash. Hope remains a deal will be completed but it is another alarming situation. A draw away at AFC Wimbledon was a steady enough result given that John Coleman's side played with 10 for half an hour (and equalised a player down), but to ship three goals in the last 15 minutes at home on Tuesday night was a hammer blow.
