Bookmakers SportingBet has assessed every League One club's xmas fixture list to determine who will spend the most money and time when taking to the road in late December.

The Black Cats faithful are already known for forking out a penny or two after brilliantly selling out each and every one of their league away matches so far .

A real killer for the travelling Red and White Army is the trip to the South Coast on December 22, while the visit to Blackpool on New Years Day accumulates to a predicted spend of £430.20 across 956 miles.

It's the season to be jolly for Gillingham and Wimbledon fans, though, with the duo's trips equalling in a combined total of £152.20 over 340 miles.

That said, Jack Ross' side have performed well on their travels this season, collecting 21 points from a possible 30 to hold the third best away record in the division.
