John Meikle tweeted: “Looks like we're headed for a white knuckle ride whether we like it or not. Whatever deal is eventually done I hope it's in the best interests of our magnificent club.”

Deggsytweets added: “Probably my cynicism kicking in but a period of exclusivity means it goes quiet day it may happen quickly but it drags on, look up the road for example.”

Georgesparents added: “It would be great if we could get this sorted before the football season starts. A new beginning to bring a positive focus! Hopefully this is the CHANGE we need to unite us all. We need to start to enjoy what it is all about a "game of good football"”.

Doug added: “I’m as hopeful and positive as the next guy, but this will only be good news if the prospective buyer a) has significant funds to re-build, and b) is prepared to work within the confines of the expected salary cap.”
