Ex-Sunderland striker to join Cyprus outfit after rejecting contract offer in Scotland
Former Black Cats striker Kyle Lafferty has agreed a move to Anorthosis Famagusta.
That’s after the target man rejected a new contract with Kilmarnock.
The one-year deal is subject to the 33-year-old passing a medical in Cyprus.
Anorthosis Famagusta finished fourth in the Cypriot First Division last campaign and compete in the Europa League.
After leaving Sunderland in the summer of 2020, Lafferty scored 13 goals for Kilmarnock following a stint at Reggina.
But the big forward could not prevent his side’s from relegation from the Scottish Premiership.
