Ex-Sunderland boss Dick Advocaat will return to the dug-out for Holland's World Cup qualifying campaign.
Advocaat - who resigned from his position as Sunderland head coach last October - has been working in a director of football role at Feyenoord over the last three months.
But the Dutch FA have confirmed that the 68-year-old will now be assistant manager to Danny Blind in Holland's bid to reach the 2018 World Cup.
Holland endured a disastrous qualifying campaign for Euro 2016 after they failed to secure a place at this summer's tournament.
Blind said: "It is good that we can call on his experience and know-how. I'm looking forward to working with him."
