Sunderland Ladies goalkeeper Rachael Laws has been called-up to the England squad for the upcoming Euro 2017 qualifying double-header.
Initially named on the standby list, Laws replaces Siobhan Chamberlain in the senior squad after the Liverpool Ladies ‘keeper pulled out due to injury.
Hebburn-born Laws is now in the squad for the 2017 UEFA European Women’s Championship qualifiers against Belgium and Bosnia & Herzegovina.
The SAFC Ladies stopper has been in typically impressive form during the early stages of the campaign, and her stand-out performance against Reading Women on Sunday saw her earn a first clean sheet of 2016.
England face Belgium at the New York Stadium in Rotherham on Friday 8 April (kick-off 7.55pm) before travelling to Zenica to play Bosnia & Herzegovina on Tuesday 12 April at the NFSiB (kick-off 3pm).
England have a 100 per cent record in their qualifying campaign so far, winning two from two.
