Echo Jury: Michael Glancy looks ahead to the clash with Queens Park Rangers

Have your say

AFTER Sunday, the game tonight is a one we must try to win, as we have a very tough run of fixtures coming up.

QPR have done well up to now, but without investment in January, I could see them dropping down the table.

Despite being relatively high in the table, they have a poor home record, and we should look to exploit this.

I think O’Neill will start with Gardner and Vaughan in midfield, as Gardner appeared to look good when he came on and Vaughan has probably been our best player this season.

I would try Larsson in centre midfield, as he can obviously create and score goals from set pieces, but doesn’t seem to have the pace a winger should have.

This would also allow Sessegnon to play on the right, a position that he has not been played in yet, despite this being the position he was signed to play in.

I would then put McClean on the left and move Richardson to left back, as he is much better than Bardsley in that position.

This is a game we should win, but our record so far against promoted teams is shocking, so I predict a draw.

Prediction: QPR 1 Sunderland 1.
