Echo Jury: Kieran Kirby looks ahead to the visit of Fulham

Have your say

FULHAM travel to Stadium of Light, their second visit to the North East this season following on from their game at the Sports Direct Arena.

Fulham don’t travel particularly well but generally we help teams and players get out of bad runs. Hopefully this isn’t the case tomorrow.

Fulham have some good attacking players in Zamora, Johnson, Dempsey, Duff and Dembele but our defence looked good against Man Utd.

I’d start with the same back four with O’Shea to miss out. The recent form of Kieran Richardson has been very impressive, long may it continue.

We’re missing Larsson through suspension which will, more than likely, see Elmohamady come in to the side. We need to see a vast improvement in him. I would play Sess wide right and push Colback on to the left and play Vaughan alongside Catts, but I think Bruce will start with Elmo.

Ji should start up front alongside Bendtner – he had a good second half at Man Utd. Hopefully that continues.

I think it will be a tight game, a little nervy at times.

Prediction: Sunderland 1 Fulham 1
