Echo Jury: Andrew Lee looks ahead to the Wolves clash

Have your say

THE final home match of the season is upon us, against potentially tricky opponents, who have everything to play for as they battle against relegation.

We will certainly need to match their commitment if we are to gain three important points.

I have always been full of admiration for Mick McCarthy, who managed our team during extremely difficult financial circumstances. But we need the points to improve our finances and stature of the club.

Good luck Wolves ... after Saturday.

Options are again limited and we will probably start with the same 11 as at Bolton. Noble to start is a possibility and it could be a good opportunity for him to show his capabilities.

The FA Cup final, meanwhile, has lost a lot of its magic but I still feel jealous that “Sunderland Reserves” are at Wembley.

Surely we should we should be able to match both Stoke and Birmingham’s achievements in reaching cup finals? Next season?

Prediction: Sunderland 2 Wolves 1
