Sunderland manager Phil Parkinson has made three changes to the side that lost to MK Dons last weekend ahead of the Black Cats’ clash with Doncaster Rovers this afternoon – and fans have been quick to react on social media.

Conor McLaughlin, Tom Flanagan, and Chris Maguire return to the side, with Jordan Willis, Max Power, and Will Grigg dropping out.

Power scored the opener in last Saturday’s 2-1 defeat at the Stadium of Light, but has been unable to retain his spot in the starting XI.

Elsewhere, Remi Matthews gets the nod in net again, much to the annoyance of many supporters, while several fans were disappointed to see no starting role for youngster Elliot Embleton.
