Having finished outside the League One play-off places on the points-per-game formula after the 2019-20 campaign was ended early, Sunderland are gearing up for a third attempt at promotion, though there is no clear date yet when players – currently on furlough leave – will be allowed back into training and when the season will get underway.

In the meantime, a growing and significant number of the club’s fanbase want to see new owners amid ongoing concerns over the future direction of the club – and we want to hear your views.

Our Big SAFC Survey will run over the course of the next week and we’ll publish the results in full.
